Thermography is a process by which the image is dusted with a resin powder while the ink is still wet.  Immediately after the paper is dusted, the excess is vacuumed so that only the image retains the resin powder.  The sheet is then heated to a temperature that melts the resin into a 3 dimensional lens over the image.

Thermography, an inexpensive printing technique that's also known as raised printing, lends a sheen and a tactile quality to printed products that you just can't get from flat printing. You can see and feel the difference...and that's a great choice!
